Indeed, the availability of screens on the market is usually five years: We announce the end of life in advance and can set up scheduled deliveries up to two years after the EOL announcement. Of course, we also offer alternative products where possible.

Conventional screens offer video inputs compatible with standard PCs, usually VGA, DVI, Display Port or HDMI.
Industrial monitors offer additional inputs, such as SDI (3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI), AHD, TVI and even CVBS composite video (PAL/ NTSC).
These signals are often provided directly by cameras to minimize latency and most of the time, a loop still transmits them for further processing to a FPGA, computer or DVR.
Specific inputs are also possible, such as Ethernet, which allows video signals from multiple IP cameras to be displayed directly, without using a PC. These industrial monitors can even be powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet). This solution is also used in Point of Sale applications to stream videos from a central system over a long distance and without the use of additional PCs next to monitors.
The requirements of robustness and life time can often be supported by the addition of a protective glass and the use of a metal frame, but this greatly weighs down the monitor. Also, when weight is a critical point, we offer specific hardening solutions such as chemical screen processing.
